歌曲“Vincent”是纪念印象派画家文森特·梵高的，“starry, starry night”的开场白很自然地让人联想到他的那幅在疯人院画的《星空》，忧郁的蓝底和一团团的黄色漩涡。
天才在左，疯子在右，两者只有一步之遥。作为10位最著名的抑郁症患者之一，以及20世纪最孤独的人，梵高就是这样的典型。虽然《向日葵》的色彩是如此明艳，似乎在诉说他在追求正面的人生，可还是没能阻止他选择早早远离人世。
民谣歌手Don McLean演唱于1971年的这首歌曲，可以说是对梵高作品的一次大检阅。配着舒缓的民谣旋律，似乎自带一种梵高式的忧郁。歌词里也包含了对其梵高境遇的一种惋惜。
内地歌手王若琳也曾翻唱过此歌，别有一番风味。
Vincent这首歌，词比较多，连读也多，对于nonnative speaker来说，要唱好不容易。所以，我在有连读的歌词后面加了括号，标注了连读的方法。希望能帮到想学这歌的朋友们。
